Illustration of ageing part #2 – Skin appearance
Ageing is an inevitable biological phenomenon which begins around the age of thirty.
It leads to the appearance of skin, vascular and pigmentation signs and can affect one area of the face more than another.
The skin is damaged more quickly with the effects of the sun, smoking and a poor diet. The skin around the eyes and on the neck and neckline is particularly delicate.
Below is a list of all the signs of ageing that could appear on the skin surface.
A – SKIN SIGNS
1.1. Skin dryness
1.2. Wrinkles and crumpled appearance
1.3 Dull skin
1.4. Dilation of pores
1.5. Appearance of hairs on female faces
B – VASCULAR SIGNS
more or less significant blood vessels appearing on the skin
1.1. Varicosities
1.2. Rosacea
1.3 Erythrosis
C – PIGMENTATION SIGNS
1.1. Sun spots
1.2. Freckles (ephelides)
Sometimes very few signs appear, sometimes many appear and sometimes all of them appear.
They can become visible either very gradually, little by little, or suddenly.
They often affect the whole face, neck and neckline. However, sometimes these signs affect certain areas more (the eyes, chin, neckline, etc.).
